Our chatbot and API allow you to integrate your Salesforce account via the Salesforce API. This article covers the basics of how it works and what you can expect.

Integrating With Salesforce

Locusive allows you to connect to your Salesforce account using Salesforce's API. You can add a new connection to Salesforce on the Integrations page on your Locusive dashboard. When you connect to Salesforce, you'll need to sign in with your username and password.

Permissions

Any requests that require our system to pull information from Salesforce will use your account, which means we'll only be able to answer questions with data that you have access to. This also means that if any of your teammates send a request to our system that requires data from Salesforce, they may not be able to get the same answer that you get, depending on how your Salesforce integration and data are set up.

Standard data fields only

When you connect your Salesforce account to Locusive, we do not scan your Salesforce account to see what data you have available. Instead, when we receive a request that might require data from Salesforce, we use ChatGPT to create request using the Salesforce Object Query Language, which means that you'll only be able to query for standard Salesforce data fields.
