To allow Locusive to provide accurate answers and take actions on behalf of your users, you’ll need to connect the data sources you want it to access. These could include databases, documents, APIs, and external tools. To start off, you can add your first data source into your Locusive account by going to the Integrations tab and connecting an app, or you can use the Documents & Links integration to update your first document or web page to start filling in your knowledge base.
To help your users take action within your product, Locusive needs to understand the actions it can perform and the workflows it should follow. You can define these through a combination of reference guides, example queries, and API integrations.
Describe Your Organization:
Locusive uses basic information about your organization to provide context on every request. You can head over to the Settings page and fill in your organization's description, glossary, details, and any other relevant information you think will be needed to answer your users' questions. Locusive will include this information on every request it sends to the LLMs that power Locusive's actions.
Add Training Instructions:
Training instructions are general, natural language instructions that provide guidance on what the assistant should do in a given scenario. They can be as detailed or sparse as you want, but in general, the more instructions you provide, the better your assistant will perform.
Training Instructions and Example Queries:
If you've added a database to your knowledge base, we highly recommend adding a Reference Guide and Example Queries to teach our system how to properly query your database.
It's a good practice to invite another administrator to your team. You can do that on the settings page by entering their email address, and our system will automatically send an invitation to them.
Once your data sources and actions are integrated, you can start testing how it answers your questions by installing our app for Slack. Head over to the Chatbot page and then click the button to set up our app. You'll be prompted to select the Slack workspace that you'd like to install our app to. It's important to choose the right one, because you can only associate a Slack workspace with a single Locusive organization.
